Deputy Director of the Library

This is a leadership role that requires a strong understanding of library operations and management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director to lead and manage the library in the service of students and staff.

• Assist the Library Director in planning and directing library programs, developing collections, and developing policies and procedures.
• Oversee daily operation of the library, particularly in the absence of the Library Director.
• Aid in preparing and monitoring the annual budget.
• Participate in the ongoing management of the library's website.
• Promote staff development to ensure a highly trained workforce.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Library and Information Science or a related field, as well as 5-10 years of experience in a leadership role.
