As a Junior UI / Web Designer (m / w / d) you will work closely together with our engineering team and marketing team. You'll work directly with our UI Sorceress to create and update our customer-facing websites and help the marketing team with their design template needs.

Your profile

Responsibilities

WordPress Design & Maintenance

• Design and update pages, posts, and theme layouts using a page builder and custom CSS (with a strong focus on accessibility, performance, and responsiveness).
• Perform admin tasks such as plugin maintenance, content organization, and website optimization to ensure fast load times.
• Manage integrations including marketing tracking, cookie consent, caching, widgets (e.g., Trustpilot), and similar.
• Build and manage custom forms using Gravity Forms, ensuring usability and accessibility.
• Occasionally tweak JavaScript or PHP for custom functions (e.g., multi-currency selectors, shortcodes) to support advanced layout or UX needs.

Beyond UI and WordPress, we value design skills that support marketing and branding efforts. While not the primary focus of the role, graphic design plays an important part in supporting our marketing and brand consistency.

Following the Austrian collective bargaining agreement guidelines for IT in category AT, we offer a minimum monthly gross salary of € 2.473 depending on your experience and credentials in Austria. We’re open to part-time employment as well.
