The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise, collaborate with the sales team and advise customers in our business area Power Grid Cybersecurity. Join us in our mission and support our customers in the transition to secure and reliable digital power grids.

Work location : Stunning Austrian Mountains (Klaus, Vorarlberg)

Technical Sales Engineer Cybersecurity, 80-100% (f / m / x)

What is it about

  • Collaborate with sales managers to understand customer needs, translate technical requirements, and deliver optimal cybersecurity solutions
  • Deliver tailored demonstrations and proof of concepts (PoC) to diverse audiences, including management, IT teams, SOC analysts, and OT personnel
  • Act as a trusted advisor for different customer teams, guiding them through the design, implementation, and operation of our security solutions
  • Set up, configure, and support cybersecurity solutions in complex IT- and OT- network environments, including substations, control centers, and power plants
  • Provide on-site customer support, respond to inquiries, and conduct training sessions
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture by sharing expertise, supporting colleagues, and fostering innovation

What are your skills

  • Strong knowledge of IT networking, virtualization technologies and core cybersecurity concepts; familiarity with OT protocols is a plus
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to the audience and address their needs effectively
  • You work independently and thrive in cross-functional teams, especially in close partnership with sales
  • You are self-organized, proactive, and team-oriented with a focus on improvement and knowledge sharing
  • Fluency in both, German and English
  • You enjoy travelling within Europe (up to 40% travel share)
