Location : Munich, Germany (with flexible / hybrid work options)

Contract Duration : 12 months

About the Role

We are seeking a contract Cloud-Native Python Developer to join our team for a 12-month project focused on digital healthcare innovation. You will develop secure, scalable cloud solutions for the German medical sector, ensuring compliance with local and EU regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop cloud-native medical applications using Python 3.11+ and frameworks like FastAPI or Django

Build and deploy serverless and containerised architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Kubernetes, Docker)

Automate infrastructure with tools like Terraform or AWS CDK

Design and maintain CI / CD pipelines for secure, compliant deployments

Integrate AI / ML models and MLOps pipelines into healthcare workflows

Ensure compliance with German and EU data protection standards

Required Skills and Experience

Expertise in Python and modern frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask)

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), serverless, and Kubernetes

Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, AWS CDK)

Understanding of DevOps and secure cloud deployments

Familiarity with health data standards (HL7, FHIR) is a plus

Fluent in English; German is advantageous
