To support its continued growth and strategic development, the organisation is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the executive leadership team. The position is based in the greater Linz area of Austria. What the job involves
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and the Board, contributing to thepany's long-term direction, financial planning, and performance monitoring
- Lead all financial operations including group-wide financial planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, reporting, and controlling
- Prepare and present consolidated financial statements (HGB and IFRS), ensuringpliance with regulations and financialernance standards
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners to ensure transparent and credible financialmunication
- Oversee external and internal audit processes, taxpliance, and corporateernance practices
- Ensure a robust risk management and internal control framework is in place and continuously improved
- Drive digital transformation and process optimisation across finance, with a focus on scalability and efficiency
- Manage capital allocation, oversee debt and liquidity management, and ensure optimal capital structure in line with shareholder expectations
- Lead and develop a small, highly skilled finance team in a collaborative, non-hierarchical manner
- Represent thepany confidently to banks, auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders
- Support business decision-making with strong financial analysis, scenario modelling, and operational KPIs
- Play a key role in M&A activities, strategic projects, and cross-functional initiatives
Who we are looking for
Outstanding academic background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related disciplineCPA, ACCA, or equivalent financial certification is a plusSignificant experience in a senior finance leadership role within an industrial or engineering-orientedpanyProven expertise in financial reportingStrong grasp of internal controls, risk management systems, and regulatory frameworksHands-on, pragmatic leadership style with the ability to build trust and foster team engagement in a lean organisational environmentExcellent interpersonal andmunication skills; confident public speaker and trusted representative to investors, banks, and analystsHigh degree of integrity, discretion, and a results-oriented mindsetStrategic thinker with the ability to operate at both executive and operational levelsProficient in MS Office and ideally familiar with financial consolidation tools ( LucaNet, SAP, or similar)Fluent in German (working language) and English (reporting language) at a professional levelLI-NE2
