Nuclear Engineering Management Systems for Nuclear Facilities Expertise and experience in the design and implementation of knowledge organization systems, preferably related to the lifecycle management of design knowledge. Nuclear Engineering Nuclear Engineering and Technology Knowledge of nuclear life-cycle, such as reactor design, construction, licensing, operations, decommissioning, radiation waste management or environmental remediation. Nuclear Engineering Nuclear Knowledge Management Experience in retaining and developing new elements of knowledge management development,also documenting of essential and innovative knowledge management products. Management and Programme Analysis Project Management Experience in developing, promoting, coordinating and evaluating related research and technical projects. Training Training Implementation Knowledge in designing, planning and implementing training courses and e-learning modules.

Qualifications, Experience and Language skills

  • Master's Degree - Advanced university degree in nuclear engineering or science / technology.
  • Bachelor's Degree - University degree in nuclear engineering or science / technology with two years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of advance university degree.
  • Minimum seven years working experience in the nuclear sector with demonstrated successful track record of efficient and effective handling of knowledge organization system related projects in scientific and technical environments.
  • Direct and significant nuclear engineering knowledge and experience related to the nuclear facility life-cycle, such as reactor design, licensing, construction, operations, decommissioning, etc.
  • Experience with information systems and services, competency and learning management systems, and organizing information resources.
  • Experience in leading multicultural and multidisciplinary projects and / or teams.
  • Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.

Remuneration

The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $84672 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 41997
