The is seeking to fill the position of research assistant in accordance with the Austrian Universities Act (Universitätsgesetz, UG) and the Employees Act (Angestelltengesetz) as a university assistant in accordance with § 26 of the collective agreement for universities (doctoral candidate). (Category B1; the minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 2,786.10 (14 x per year) and may be adjusted based on previous experience and skills).

Key responsibilities :
Scientific support in research and teaching in the field of work, organizational and economic psychology; administrative tasks;independent research activities including the writing and publication of a doctoral thesis;independent teaching load two semester hours per week, probably as of the second year of employment;collaboration in research projects.Job requirements :
A diploma or master’s degree in psychology;Prerequisite : admission to the relevant doctoral program at the University of Salzburg.Desirable additional qualifications :
Outstanding statistical and methodical skills (including common or modern data analysis procedures such as SPSS, R);Knowledge of process analysis methods and tools (mediation-moderation models according to Hayes);methods for analyzing factor structures and evaluating EMA data;experience of planning and implementing empirical studies as well as laboratory studies (knowledge of Limesurvey is desirable) and writing manuscripts in English;interest in the research field of work-related stress.Desired personal qualities :
