Independent research activities in the field of pancreatic function and pancreatic pathognesis with a focus on the zebrafish modelIndependent organisation of courses and examinations in the fields of molecular biology, developmental biology and biomedicineAssistance in teaching in Bachelor's and Master's programmes; supervision of Bachelor's and Master's students, guidance of technical staffCollaboration in the organisation of courses, laboratory practicals and scientific events and participation in ongoing projects on the formation and regeneration of beta cellsParticipation in administrative and strategic tasks within the research group or institution as well as further qualification and participation in national and international specialist eventsYour profile :
Completed doctoral or PhD studies in the field of biology, molecular medicine or comparable life sciencesPostdoctoral experience or relevant professional experienceProven research experience in the field of diabetes and / or pancreas researchProven experience in working with the model organism zebrafish, experience in the creation and application of genetic models is desirableSound knowledge of imaging techniques in cell and developmental biologyPublication activity in peer-reviewed journals and active participation in international conferencesExperience in the acquisition and management of third-party funded projects (e.g. EU, FWF, state funding)Enjoy teaching and supervising young scientistsVery good written and spoken German and English skillsTeam spirit, initiative, organisational talent and strong communication skillsEuraxess :
