The Commercial Project Manager, together with the Project Director, plays an essential role in successful execution of large-scale hydro projects. Primary responsibilities include managing of all commercial aspects and impacts of the project, ensuring financial objectives are met, as well as identification, monitoring respectively tracking of potential commercial or contractual Risks as well as Chances and risk mitigation.
Your main tasks
- You drive the financial success of the project and have full control of all commercial aspects
- You manage the commercial and contractual Risks and Chances and define appropriate mitigation measures
- As a professional, you will drive the founding and management of Permanent Establishments, care for local bank accounts, VAT processing, secondments and social security issues as well as for labor law issues
- You ensure compliance of contract and export control, financing and payment guarantees (e.g. Letters of Credit), bank guarantees and other related topics
- You care for insurance, tax and legal topics
- Analyze development of indices and global trends for calculation of price adjustment formulas to forecast project budget
- For successful cash management you are tracking payment terms, ensure invoicing in short term, and chasing of outstanding invoices
- You support the Project Director with exposure calculations and in preparation of Project Review meetings
Your skills
Your experience in commercial management within the EPC industry, is proven with a focus on infrastructure projectsMaster’s or Bachelor's degree in business administration, international law, or a related fieldYour communication and interpersonal skills are excellentYou are ready for international assignments that may require extended stays abroad, depending on project needsAbility to work in a team, effectively under pressure and meeting tight deadlinesStrong financial insight and budget management experience complete your profileOur offer to you
