Our Center for Vision, Automation & Control located in Vienna invites applications for a PhD Thesis. At the our research unit “ Complex Dynamical Systems ” focuses its research on modelling, simulation, analysis and optimisation, as well as on the control of complex and dynamical industrial systems and processes. The primary goal is to enhance product quality, increase flexibility, and boost resource efficiency. Applications are found in the fields of mechatronics, robotics, and the automation of industrial production facilities.
The PhD Thesis is part of the Lighthouse Project Sustainable Manufacturing of High-Quality Products , where new methods and technologies are developed to enable zero-defect manufacturing. In this PhD project, we are conducting research on feedback quality control with the aim of increasing product quality and resource efficiency in injection moulding.
