Our recruitment agency is helping a leading iGaming Affiliate company find an experienced German-speaking Head of Content for the DACH markets.

The ideal candidate will possesses in-depth knowledge of the German-speaking sports betting landscape and a proven track record of success in the industry. In this role, you will shape and drive the content strategy for our high-performing German sports betting affiliate portal, using data-driven insights to stay ahead of the curve in a competitive market. They will also lead and mentor a team of 5–7 talented content professionals, ensuring strategic alignment, accountability, and continued growth within the team.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute a predictive, data-informed content strategy tailored to the DACH market.
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of 5–7 writers and editors to consistently produce high-performing content.
• Monitor regional sports betting trends and user behavior to inform editorial direction.
• Provide weekly insights and actionable plans based on high-potential events, seasonal trends, and local market dynamics.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify and close content gaps, improving both rankings and conversions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, Product, and Quality teams to align content initiatives with broader business goals.
• Elevate content quality through strategic planning, structured execution, and ongoing optimization.
• Define and enforce content governance best practices, including lifecycle management, internal linking, page structure, update schedules, change tracking, and seasonal workflows.
