Lead Engineer Continuous Casting

As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring plant engineering / performance meets contractual requirements (e.g. schedule, technical completeness, technical standards, interfaces, operation, maintenance, safety requirements)
• Coordinating technical interfaces among engineering disciplines, plant areas, and other involved parties (e.g. schedule, technical completeness, technical standards, safety planning)
• Supporting technical clarifications with customers and other stakeholders (e.g. customer consultants, consortium partners, approval agencies, suppliers, and manufacturers)
• Conducting regular engineering team meetings (in coordination with project management)
• Supporting procurement, manufacturing, installation, cold and hot commissioning planning, and execution activities
• Ensuring design requirement (R´1) review execution
• Monitoring engineering compliance to safety requirements and contributing to risk assessments (e.g. HAZOP)
• Managing structured engineering change processes (e.g. documentation, schedule and cost impact, lessons learned)
• Coordinating the preparation of overall project engineering standard documents
• Coordinating and supporting the technical sales department in finding solutions during the pre-project phase
