Overview

As our Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (f / m / d) you will be working on making engineer life easy and efficient, as well as taking care of our core platform, using exciting technologies. Joining the dynamic Eversports Product & Engineering Team, you’ll thrive in a collaborative DevOps culture, designing automated solutions that enhance developer productivity and drive impactful infrastructure. With rapid onboarding and ownership of exciting projects, you’ll innovate, grow, and make a lasting contribution to our mission : " Make sports happen "

Your Tasks

• Empower Engineering Autonomy : Design and build reusable infrastructure components that enable engineers to develop, deploy, and operate their services with confidence and autonomy.
• Enhance Developer Experience : Continuously improve developer workflows by designing concepts, evaluating tools, and automating processes like dev environments, CI / CD pipelines, and deployment systems in close collaboration with development teams.
• Build and Scale Core Platforms : Develop and optimize a robust continuous delivery platform, covering build pipelines, automated testing, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Champion Code Quality and Best Practices : Drive adoption of best practices for code quality, testing, and maintainability while creating clear, actionable guidelines to support engineering teams.
• Secure the Platform : Strengthen the security of core platforms by implementing best practices and educating teams to ensure secure development and operations.
• Shape Technical Vision : Play an active role in defining and evolving the company’s technical strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Foster Collaboration and Improvement : Create a culture of open feedback and continuous improvement by sharing ideas, identifying pain points, and proposing innovative solutions.

At Eversports, we believe in transparency, so here is the fine print : for the current position we will offer a minimum yearly gross salary of EUR 61,000 based on the IT collective agreement (overpayment offered based on experience).

It all started back in 2013 when our founders Hanno, Emanuel, Philipp and Stefan realised how difficult it was to book and pay for sports activities online. They knew it was time to digitalise the way we book, pay and enjoy sports activities. The four joined forces to create Eversports with the vision of giving everyone access to sports, anytime, anywhere. And it was a success!

The Eversports marketplace is the largest yoga and sports community with 524k users and 2.2 million bookings per month, offering studios and sports venues a platform for more visibility and less admin work. All sharing the same passion to “make sports happen”!
