Location : Hybrid role based in Vienna, with relocation support available from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Kosovo.

Your Responsibilities :

Database Design, Build, and Maintenance – Create and manage database objects based on business needs, ensuring smooth operation.

Performance Optimization and Capacity Planning – Tune databases for efficiency and plan for future capacity requirements.

Backup, Restore, and Security – Ensure data integrity, availability, and security compliance.

Software Upgrades and Problem Management – Support database upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support.

Developer Support and Documentation – Assist developers with database-related topics and maintain accurate records.

What You Bring :

Expertise in mainframe environments (JCL, REXX) and database management / administration for DB2 or Adabas.

Basic knowledge of mainframe development languages and processes.

High interest in new technologies and developments within the mainframe environment.
