RoomRaccoon is a leading property management platform dedicated to revolutionizing the hospitality landscape. We empower independent hotels with innovative technology solutions, driving their success and shaping the future of hospitality. Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in transforming hotel operations and guest experiences across Austria.

We are looking for individuals to :

  • Empower Independent Hotels : Be the catalyst for success stories in the hospitality industry, leveraging RoomRaccoon's cutting-edge technology.
  • Shape the Future of Hospitality : Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the industry.
  • Build Meaningful Relationships : Establish and nurture partnerships with a diverse range of independent hoteliers, gaining insights from their unique experiences.
  • Challenge and Innovate : Serve as a strategic advisor to our clients, customizing solutions to drive operational excellence and exceed expectations

Tasks

Key Responsibilities include :

  • Follow up on demonstration requests (& other marketing-qualified leads)
  • Full sales cycle management
  • Identify prospect decision-makers, uncover critical business issues, stimulate interest
  • Schedule demonstrations while making and tracking activities
  • Ensure a smooth handoff to Implementations upon closing
  • Ensure (CRM) data integrity
  • Enrich our Inbound marketing activities with your local market / cultural insights
  • Stay current on industry issues / trends and competitive offerings
  • May be required to prospect in-person locally and / or travel
  • Other duties as required

  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality or technology sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry, especially independent hotel operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.

    The hotel industry is at the very heart of the RoomRaccoon story.

    Our Founder, Nadja Buckenberger, faced many challenges when she opened the doors of the Bliss Boutique Hotel in Breda in 2014.

    She couldn’t find a single affordable solution to manage all aspects of her property. That’s when she decided to join forces with her partner, tech entrepreneur Tymen van Dyl to create one that could.

    In 2016, Tymen began building software that would solve Nadja’s three central pain points by combining a Property Management System (PMS) with a channel manager and booking engine – a technological feat!

    The software worked wonders for the Bliss Hotel and piqued the interest of other regional hotels.

    We officially launched in January 2017, and six months later, we had over 100 hotels on board. Today, RoomRaccoon is the world’s most complete HMS for independent accommodations with 10 – 100 rooms.
