Your New Role

Venergi, in collaboration with Wien Energie, is currently developing several projects at the Simmeringer Haide site that, in addition to the existing facility, have a higher logistical demand. The task of the project manager for infrastructure is to implement the current logistics studies and their respective results. As a Project Manager specializing in infrastructure, you will be responsible for managing following phases : planning, developing, and implementing the infrastructure of the project. Your primary focus will be on facilitating both inbound and outbound transportation via truck and rail transport. You will collaborate closely with a team of engineers, planners, and other professionals, reporting to the general project leaders for large-scale projects to ensure that projects meet technical requirements, comply with regulatory standards, and adhere to budgetary and timeline constraints.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Conducting site assessments and implementing logistics feasibility studies
• If necessary, supervising further logistics.
• Planning, Execution by monitor timelines, implement quality control, and report progress.
• Stakeholder Management by identify and engage stakeholders, facilitate meetings, and maintain effective communication.
• Resource Management by coordinate project teams, manage budgets, and oversee procurement.
• Regulatory Compliance : Secure necessary permits and ensure adherence to regulations and standards e.g. Austrian Railway Act.
• Risk Management by identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and prepare contingency plans.
• Collaborating with the project teams, suppliers, and authorities to obtain permits.
• Identifying opportunities to optimize rail infrastructure projects in terms of cost, efficiency, and environmental compatibility.

Remuneration –  the salary for this position will be at least €78,960. Overpayment may be negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
