What youwould be working on

Asa Senior Engineer , you will be part ofa Product and Engineering organization that works to build Nostointo a global Commerce Experience Platform leader for online retailand other verticals. You will report to the Head of SearchEngineering, working with the search engineering team responsiblefor providing the Search and Category Merchandising product. Youare expected to bring seniority and technical leadership to theteam and spearhead major technical changes and innovations andguide your other team members in growing their skills andexperience. You will be working with all aspects of the productranging from infrastructure, backend, front-end, and participate inspearheading the research on AI powered products such as vectorsearch. You will be supported by our SRE team, Data team, AI Lab,Design, and Core Front End teams being successful at tapping intoshared resources and ways of working. You will have freedom inchoice of technologies and practices as long as you are able tojustify your proposals to the team and rest of the engineering. Wework in a very pragmatic way and close to customers and solvingtheir problems.

Keyresponsibilities :

• Implementimprovements and new features to the Nosto Search engine
• Work on search relevance algorithms, analyze analyticaldata, and find ideas and ways to improve searchrelevance
• Implement language processingalgorithms and configurations for many different humanlanguages
• Maintain and improve searchinfrastructure and DevOps processes to ensure high performance,scalability, and availability of the service
• Add new configs and analytics pages to the internal andpublic management console
• Design internal andexternal APIs
• Write internal and publicdocumentation
• Design architecture of newservices
• Provide support for internal teamswith search-related questions
• Collaborate withproduct managers and designers in a lean Sprint-like process andquarterly roadmap planning, and annual planning.
