TECH DIRECTOR - SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND WEB DEVELOPMENT

To lead our Software Development and Web Development departments we are recruiting for the following on-site position at our Headquarters in Innsbruck , Tyrol :

TECH DIRECTOR – SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND WEB DEVELOPMENT

f / m / x 40h / week

ROLE OVERVIEW :

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Tech Director to lead our Software Development and Web Development departments. You report to the CEO and Co-Founder. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background , excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex software and web projects and the related IT infrastructure.

YOUR TASKS :

  • Oversee the entire software and web development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers, web developers, IT specialists and project managers.
  • Develop and implement technology strategies that align with the company's business goals.
  • Ensure the security, scalability and reliability of all IT systems and software applications.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Manage budgets, timelines and resources for software development, web development and IT projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

YOUR PROFILE :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT and software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of software and web development methodologies, IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred skill : Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Preferred skill : Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Preferred skill : Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Employment permit for the EU / Austria.

    • SALARY :

    For this position, depending on qualifications and work experience, the minimum gross annual salary for full-time starts at EUR 90.000. The willingness to overpayment is given, depending on your qualification and previous professional experience.
