The impact you'll make

At Lam, as an Engineering Technician, you play a crucial role in supporting activities including design, test, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, and specialized test equipment. Referencing schematics, diagrams, and descriptions, you conduct testing and troubleshooting. You'll perform fault isolation and assist in determining methods to remedy malfunctions. Your commitment to precision and problem-solving enhances Lam's engineering systems.

What you'll do

• Assembly and Test Pilot product and modules in high quality
• Working on newest products and design and get them ready for production.
• Work together with colleagues in pilot production area in several areas (mechanical, electrical, chemical or testing area)
• Supporting assembly and documentation of test fixtures and other assemblies
• Reporting issues and drive improvements and new ideas to improve efficiency.
• Technical education or technical / leading apprenticeship (LAP)
• LAP with min. 5 years of relevant work experience or HTL with min. 3 years of relevant work experience with installation, maintenance, repair, testing, or troubleshooting of equipment or electronics
• Willingness to work in team and different work areas (tubing, mechanical and electrical assembly and test)
• Good skills in utilizing computer-based data systems, applications, and Microsoft Office software
• Oral and written communication skills in English
• Self managed and proactive working style
• Work overtime when required

What We're Offering

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry ( https : / / www.metalltechnischeindustrie.at / fileadmin / content / Dokumente / Kollektivvertrag / KV_2024 / Abschluss / FMTI_Mindestgehaltstabelle_2024.pdf ) in the occupation group D or E, depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills.

The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
