You will be part of our the Group Data and Reporting Governance team, which is a Department located within the Group Data Management area at Erste Group.

Your Tasks

  • Support the implementation of the group-wide Data, Reporting and BCBS 239 Governance in close collaboration with the teams core experts
  • Establish standards to ensure full compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Execute governance oversight and ensures smooth, ideally automated processes.
  • Collaborate with relevant business and IT units across the Group
  • Coordinate various types of meetings with diverse stakeholders, ensuring that key findings and outcomes are continuously monitored and tracked

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. economics, banking / finance, IT)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data governance, data management, or reporting, ideally in a financial services environment
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g. BCBS 239)
  • Familiarity with data management tools (e.g. Collibra, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Solution-focused and results-oriented mindset, combined with efficient working practices
  • Team player with a reliable, structured working style and excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English; German or any CEE language is an advantage

  • The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 49.772,8 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
