Commonwealth Home Design , an award-winning home remodeling and design firm serving Northern Virginia for 40 years, is seeking a Director of Estimating and Sales to join our talented team. You will be the initial point of contact for clients, shaping the start of their home transformation journey.

What you will do

Follow up on leads from client requests, referrals, and internet inquiries.

Serve as the initial point of contact for new projects, providing excellent customer service.

Visit clients' homes to take measurements and photos for accurate project scoping.

Interface with architect for project scope and proposal preparation.

Develop detailed, accurate proposals based on client needs and project specifications.

Present proposals to clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with their vision.

Conduct subcontractor meetings.

Close the deal.

Write specifications and construction contracts.

Track and influence project performance to completion.

What you bring

A minimum of five years of sales and estimating experience.

Exceptional estimating skills , with experience creating detailed project proposals.

Confidence in leading client interactions, from the first conversation to the final proposal.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and client requests.

Strong communication skills, ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout the process.
