Software Developer (m / f / d) Accounting

Location : Geilenkirchen | immediately

Your tasks

Implementation : You will develop software for financial accounting, asset accounting, cost accounting and interfaces - always with our customers' requirements in mind.
Further development : Existing programs need fine-tuning from time to time. Whether bug fixing or exciting new features - you make our software future-proof.
Optimization : You take a close look at country-specific requirements, bring order to chaos and turn individual parts into a coherent European overall picture.
Programming : No matter which programming language you have used so far - with your experience and our training, you will become fit in C# .NET and COBOL to implement our specific requirements.
Legal compliance : You translate legal requirements into software solutions that work simply and reliably for our customers.

What you bring with you

Technical know-how : A degree in computer science, comparable training or experience in software development - commercial training with an affinity for IT is also a great fit! We value practice more than titles.

Programming skills : You are familiar with object-oriented languages such as C# .NET and are willing to familiarize yourself with COBOL.

Commercial understanding : Business basics or experience with accounting processes are a plus.

Language skills : German at C1 level and English at B2 - Italian would be the icing on the cake!

Curiosity : Legal texts and regulations don't scare you - you find creative solutions to implement them in software.
