Role Responsibilities

• Leading the local accounting team with an oversight of, and providing direction to outsourced service providers and allocating resources to ensure a timely completion of work.
• Being accountable for the regular monthly routine processes and controls : journal entries revision, trial balance analytical review, analysis of complex balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP and Western Union accounting policies and regular internal control processes.
• Preparing standalone financial statements and regulatory filings according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (UGB, IFRS, US GAAP) and managing the audit process.
• Close cooperation with local Controlling and understanding the Group requirements for Management Accounting (Cost Centre, Product Group, Business Area, Country).
• Ensuring compliance with local tax requirements and managing local tax audits

Role Requirements

Salary

We are under legal obligation to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 78.657 gross per year for this position. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
