Management and Programme Analysis Development of Analytic Methodologies and Processes Expertise in developing new methodologies for the assessment of large volumes of complex data. Information Management Information Analysis Advanced knowledge in methods for identification, collection, and analysis of proliferation-relevant open-source information, to include: expertise in search strategies and tools, information and source evaluation, and analytical techniques and software. Management and Programme Analysis Proliferation and Network Analysis Ability to provide assessment on the status of nuclear programs and proliferation activities based on analysis of all safeguards relevant information Safeguards Safeguards System, Advanced Advanced expertise in the concepts of strengthened Safeguards, verification processes and evaluation of declared information.
Qualifications, Experience and Language skills
Bachelor's Degree - A first level university degree with two additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the advanced degree.
Master's Degree - Advanced university degree in sciences (e.g. physics, chemistry), technology (e.g. nuclear, mechanical or other engineering), or in fields of relevance to non-proliferation studies and analysis.
Minimum of seven years of experience in nuclear non-proliferation or safeguards information collection and analysis, or in nuclear fuel cycle-related research.
Strong background in multi-source analysis with the ability to incorporate the results of disparate analyses into an integrated analytical product.
Recent experience in the analysis of the proliferation risks associated with globalization, such as academic research networks, scientific cooperation, nuclear-related procurement, etc.; experience related to export controls or customs activities associated with nuclear or dual use items and services for civilian or military applications an asset.
Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $86027 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 44734*, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses; Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
