The team of the The Ritz-Carlton Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position:

Systems Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain the hotels entire IT infrastructure including client server network and peripheral systems.
• Provide first- and second-level IT support for all employees handling IT requests and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Install configure and maintain hardware software and mobile devices.
• Assist with the administration of Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory Microsoft 365 and user accounts.
• Monitor network Wi-Fi and telephone systems and assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Ensure the proper operation of printers POS systems TV systems and other hotel technology applications.
• Support IT projects system upgrades and rollouts in accordance with Marriott standards.
• Perform regular system backups and assist with IT security measures and compliance requirements.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes system changes and IT asset inventory.
• Collaborate with external service providers and the regional Marriott IT team.
• Be available to provide support outside regular working hours when required and participate in the on-call support rotation.
• Work closely with all hotel departments and report directly to the IT Manager.

Your Qualifications:

• Completed education in Information Technology Computer Science or a comparable technical field.
• Initial professional experience in IT support system administration or a similar role preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems Microsoft 365 Active Directory and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS DHCP).
• Experience with computer hardware printers mobile devices and standard IT peripherals.
• A structured solution-oriented and customer-focused approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal guests and colleagues.
• High level of responsibility and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to work weekends public holidays and participate in an on-call support rotation.

The statutory gross minimum remuneration for this position based on full-time employment is 2.26300 per month. A higher salary will be offered depending on your qualifications and experience.
