On behalf of our client, a 4*S Hotel in Vorarlberg, Austria, we are looking for a Souschef (m,f,d)!

The hotel is located in one of the renowned Alpine tourist regions, combining premium accommodation, wellness and spa facilities, fine dining gastronomy, and opportunities for an active holiday.

Main duties:

• Managing the kitchen in collaboration with the Head Chef
• Organising mise en place and daily kitchen service
• Preparing and finishing dishes in accordance with the hotel's standards
• Working with regional, seasonal, and high-quality ingredients
• Assisting with menu planning and daily specials
• Coordinating the work of chefs and kitchen assistants
• Monitoring the quality, presentation, and taste of all dishes
• Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with HACCP standards
• Acting as deputy to the Head Chef when required
• Collaborating closely with the restaurant, service team, and other hotel departments

Your personal profile:

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, or an experienced independent chef
• Experience in a hotel kitchen or a high-end restaurant
• The ability to work independently and take responsibility
• Strong organisational and kitchen team management skills
• The ability to perform efficiently during busy service periods
• Creativity and a strong focus on quality
• A professional, reliable, and well-organised approach to work
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP standards
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of German is considered an advantage
