Key Responsibilities
· Independently support residential PV, hybrid inverters, home energy storage batteries, backup systems, smart meters and communication devices.
· Provide L1/L2 support to installers, distributors and service partners through phone, email, remote platforms, the ticketing system and on-site visits when required.
· Collect fault codes, logs, operating curves, parameters, photographs and field data to distinguish installation, configuration, communication and product causes.
· Escalate complex, critical or systemic issues to HQ/L3 with complete evidence and track containment, root cause, corrective action and final closure.
· Deliver German-language product, commissioning and troubleshooting training; support launches, pilots and key projects.
· Convert recurring issues into FAQs, troubleshooting guides, knowledge-base articles and training materials.
· Collaborate with China HQ, European teams, R&D, Product, Quality, Sales, Spare Parts and Logistics to close issues on time.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Energy, Automation, Renewable Energy or a related discipline; equivalent vocational education and strong practical experience will also be considered.
· At least 3 years of technical support, commissioning or after-sales experience with PV inverters, residential energy storage or related renewable-energy equipment.
· Ability to diagnose inverter, battery/BMS, smart meter/CT, backup, app/cloud and communication issues independently.
· Sound understanding of PV strings, MPPT, three-phase systems, grid-connected/off-grid operation, time-of-use operation and electrical safety.
· Working knowledge of IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi/LAN, RS485 and Modbus.
· Native or professional German and English at B2 or above.
· Valid authorization to work in Austria, a valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
· Strong customer communication, training, technical writing and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
Preferred
· Knowledge of the Austrian PV/ESS market, installer ecosystem and relevant grid requirements.
· Experience with C&I storage, EV charging, heat pumps, smart-home systems or third-party EMS integration.
