Surgical Sales Specialist

Hologic is now looking for a Surgical Sales Specialist to join our Gynaecology Surgical Solutions team in Austria, covering the Western Austria territory. In this role, you will be at the forefront of advancing minimally invasive surgical care, partnering closely with healthcare professionals to deliver technologies that truly make a difference in patients' lives. As a Hologic Sales Specialist, you will be more than a salesperson, you will be a trusted partner and clinical advocate, helping clinicians improve outcomes through innovative surgical solutions.

What To Expect

• Drive profitable growth across Western Austria by executing a targeted sales strategy and delivering against business objectives.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with surgeons, theatre teams, procurement stakeholders and clinical decision-makers throughout the region.
• Provide expert clinical and product knowledge, helping customers understand the benefits and applications of Hologic's surgical technologies.
• Uncover and convert new opportunities while supporting the continued success of existing accounts.
• Develop and implement a structured territory plan, prioritising key centres and high-potential growth areas.
• Support product evaluations, in-theatre activity, customer education and training programmes to encourage successful adoption.
• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer engagement, positioning Hologic as a trusted partner within women's health.
• Monitor market developments, healthcare trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and strengthen Hologic's presence.
• Partner closely with internal colleagues across commercial, clinical and customer support functions to achieve shared business goals.

What We Expect

• Proven success in medical device sales, ideally within surgical or operating room environments.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, buying processes and healthcare systems in Austria.
• Ability to confidently communicate technical and clinical value propositions.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage, educate and inspire customers.
• Strong commercial mindset, from prospecting through to closing opportunities.
• Ability to analyse data and identify growth opportunities within your territory.
• Skilled in problem-solving and objection handling.
• Confident using CRM systems and digital tools to drive performance.
• Fluent in German and comfortable working in English.
• Valid Austrian driving licence.

Salary: €68,000-€85,000 gross pa base + commission (OTE €88,400 - €110,500) based on target performance, with opportunity to earn greater than OTE for those who exceed their targets. The final offer will depend on experience, skills and alignment with internal pay structures. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including pension and insurances.
