The Role
Location : Vienna, AT
Part of the local Management team, in the role as Trade & Operations Manager AT & CH (all genders) you are responsible for delivering the platform for our brands across all channels and translating short and long-term trade plans into action via planning and execution for Austria & Switzerland. The role will be accountable for translating the commercial results for both markets into Business and Operational Omni channel plans. They will assume accountability for setting and delivering against KPIs whilst also managing cross-category channel activities meeting the operational requirements to ensure delivery of all trade initiatives as well as see execution through to market level.
The role will be accountable for identifying, aligning and prioritizing new performance opportunities based on customer needs, demand shifts and market performance across all categories. Therefore they will be expected to provide quality planning & executional delivery liaising closely with both markets as well as other key stakeholders within the Cluster DACH, agencies and Market functions to achieve alignment.
Principle Accountabilities
- Lead & Develop Omni-Channel Strategy & Concepts and overview a successful orchestration of touchpoints across all product categories for both markets
- Evaluation and implementation of trade activities and channel operations against business plan, strategic alliances and other markets
- Identifying ideal Route to Market incl. distribution strategy and targets, call frequency & rates, on shelf availability, retail classification, focus articles and core portfolio strategy and create a go to market set of outcome KPIs that will be implemented, tracked and monitored
- Create, Develop and annually review and update retail classification across channels and categories for both AT and CH and take responsibility and accountability for their implementation
- Establish CatMan expertise & analytics and support KAM regarding assortment & placement decisions, develop Cross Category Planograms and facing guidelines
- Review & adapt existing Trade Concepts and establishment of new Trade compensation strategies (incl. contract development, legal & compliance checks, ROI calculation) ready for implementation into market.
- Monitor Channel strategy, channel trends, competitor activities and evaluate tools, make business adjustments based on performed analysis
- Develop and implement strategic concepts for new category launches & growth activities based on identified gaps
- Monitor & optimize current field force territories based on capacity utilization and targets and look to move forward with Global advancements if applicable to the market
- Overview trade actions and track performance based on KPIS
- Design and take the responsibility for the production of store furniture, tools and trade & sales materials
- Design and take responsibility for booking of trade ads in print & digital
- Lead Planning and Framing of Sales Cycle as well as onboarding of Field Force by build & summarize relevant Brand & Trade Topics for each Sales Cycle
- Take ownership of the SC review process. Creating the information, facilitating the sharing of the review and ensuring learning are taken forward
- Overall view on Trade CuE Insight & Trade Information / Education to secure concept and activity compliance in regard to content
- Manage Improvement & Innovation Strategies
- Overview & control of Trade Budgets
- Close stakeholder management with other Management colleagues as well as sales force
Skills and Experience Required
Sales & Marketing or other relevant degreeAt least 3 years Sales & Trade marketing experience with Imperial Brands or other FMCG companiesPlanning and Project Management skillsUnderstanding of IMB Strategy and how it applies to the Cluster and the marketUnderstands the drivers within categories, demand shifts, consumer needs and pricing dynamics to identify new strategic opportunitiesCRM and other customer based data-source experienceAbility to demonstrate knowledge, presence and influence in senior management meetingsAbility to validate plans based on customer needs, commercial delivery detailing return on investment ensuring maximum benefits and results are deliveredAbility to analyze more complex data sets and translate into opportunities and actionsFluent in German & English (spoken and written skills)Open minded personalityWhat We Offer
