Your Mission
As Head of Sales for our global service business you are responsible for driving strategic growth, customer retention, and revenue expansion across all service offerings. Lead and coach the Regional Sales Managers, ensuring achievement of ambitious sales targets aligned with the business unit’s goals. This role requires a dynamic leader who fosters strong collaboration amongst Product Management and global support functions to drive new products and sales initiatives into the market. Drive the identification, development and implementation of new service offerings which are essential for incremental business.
How you will make a difference
- Sales Strategy Development Develop and execute a comprehensive service sales strategy. Set and achieve annual sales targets and objectives. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies proactively.
- Leadership and Team Management Build, lead, inspire and mentor a high-performing multicultural sales team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team is equipped with the tools, training, and resources to succeed.
- Customer Relationship Management Establish and maintain strong relationships with global key customers : act as a senior point of contact for high-value or strategic accounts.
- Business Development and Growth Identify new business opportunities, products, and services. Partner with the marketing and product teams to align offerings with customer demands. Collaborate with global sales network to leverage synergies and share best practices.
- Sales Operations and Performance Champion the adoption of best practices in CRM usage and Key Account Management. Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the BU Service. Optimize sales processes, pricing strategies, tools, and systems for efficiency and effectiveness. Track and analyze sales performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve results.
- Cultural Stewardship Foster a customer-centric, performance-driven culture aligned with HOERBIGER leadership capabilities and cultural code.
Qualifications
Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).Sales Leadership Experience : Over 10 years of proven success in leading sales within industrial or energy sectors.Global Market Expertise : Strong understanding of global service market dynamics and customer landscapes.Cross-Cultural Team Management : Experience leading diverse, multi-cultural teams across global locations.Strategic and Commercial Acumen : Strong business acumen with strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.Relationship and Communication Skills : Ability to communicate, negotiate, and build long-term client relationships.Technical and Language Proficiency : Fluent in English and proficient in CRM tools, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.Benefits
