As part of our Data team, you will :
- Build data models that turn our massive amount of GPS positions, activity data, and user interactions into clear insights - so every team at Tractive can make better decisions to improve the lives of pets and their people
- Use tools like dbt to clean and organize data from our devices and apps, making it easy for the company to answer questions like "Where do pets spend most of their time?" or "How do people use live tracking?"
- Work hand-in-hand with Data Analysts, Engineers, and Scientists to design a reliable, scalable data warehouse - the foundation that powers product decisions, marketing strategies, customer insights, and more
- Build smart quality checks into data models to ensure stakeholders can trust key metrics - supporting use cases like monitoring live tracking frequency, detecting virtual fence exits, or evaluating battery-saving feature performance
- Share your knowledge to help teammates grow - whether it's guiding better data practices or sparking new ideas in a collaborative session
- Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you'll never hear the phrase "...because that's how we've always done things"
- Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level
