Network Administrator (m / f / d)

Your tasks

Administration and planning of a provider network infrastructure (IPv4 + IPv6)
Configuration of existing and new network components (primarily Cisco)
Ensuring the operation of active network components (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN)
Administration and configuration of Cable Modem Termination Systems (CMTS / CCAP)
Problem analysis and rectification of system faults
Optimization and implementation of security guidelines
Research, compatibility tests and integration of new hardware and software
Monitoring, documentation, logging and statistical analysis
Participation in the MDCC on-call service

Your profile

Completed training and / or completed studies in the field of communication technology or a relevant subject area

Professional experience in network administration with manufacturer products from Cisco, Arista, PaloAlto, Mikrotik or others

Knowledge of modern network architectures (IPv4; IPv6, VoIP, MPLS) and routing protocols (including BGP, OSPF, ISIS)

Knowledge of network services such as DNS and DHCP, Linux server environment and virtualization

Experience with scripting and automation

Team player, communicative, flexible, customer and service-oriented

work independently and innovatively

Very good knowledge of German and English; class B driving license
