Your Responsibilities

  • Ownership of container process engineering for new product developments and complex project-specific designs

    • Analyze and optimize complex design aspects affecting multiple sub-systems of containerized solutions such as :

    Noise emissions

  • Container ventilation
  • CFD results of multi-unit site layouts considering airflow, temperature distribution and static pressure differences
  • Seismic designs

    • Wind and snow loads

    Close collaboration with mechanical and electrical design engineers for containers & BoP components

  • Act as key interface to external container manufacturers to define detail designs
  • Participation in customer project meetings to define scope, align project specifications and define technical solutions
  • Support generation of RFQ documentation and support evaluation, validation and ramp-up of new packaging suppliers
  • Development and validation of new technologies targeting new applications, system performance improvements and cost optimizations

    • Your Profile

  • BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education
  • Extensive engineering work experience with containerized stationary gensets or a related engineering field
  • Proven experience in complex product development and project execution
  • Flexible mindset and ability to adapt to complex customer needs
  • Advanced expertise in the use of quality tools and techniques along the development process
  • Comfortable in an international environment with exceptional communication skills.
  • Comfortable with presentation of detailed technical topics across a wide range of audiences.
  • Excellent English & German language skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (>

    • 30%)

  • A valid work permit for Austria as a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens : please attach the work permit to the application)

    • The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.673,74 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience
