    • Job Description : Your tasks :

  • Strategic and operational department management
  • Management and development of a team of 23 dedicated employees
  • Reporting and strategic advice to the university management and middle management
  • Representing the university with funding bodies, ministries, interest groups, politics and business
  • Ongoing dialogue with funding bodies, clients and other research institutions
  • Conception and realisation of strategic projects
  • Coordination and further development of cross-departmental processes

    • Your profile :

  • Completed diploma or master's degree
  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent knowledge of the Austrian, European and international funding landscape, ideally own experience in successfully acquiring third-party funding
  • Understanding of university structures
  • Basic understanding of legal framework conditions in research funding, contract design and utilisation of research results
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Management experience and experience in the digitalisation of business processes desirable
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Enjoy team leadership and development
  • Confident and professional demeanour towards internal and external stakeholders
  • High service orientation, innovative and creative spirit
  • Ability to work under pressure, decisiveness and conflict resolution skills
