Internship : GaN Technology development team (f / m / div) Unlock the future of high performance GaN power devices Within our GaN technology development team we are searching for a passionate intern helping us to tackle the key challenges to reliability and performance of GaN HEMTs within the next 2 years. Taking on the role of a technology development intern you'll join a passionate, international team dedicated to making the next generation of GaN power devices reality. Our team in Villach is looking forward to receiving your application Job Description In your new role you will :

• Work on the characterization of GaN power HEMTs using source measurement unit (SMU) based and custom measurement equipment
• Create software to assist in the research and development of our GaN technology
• Maintain and expand existing hardware built for the static and dynamic characterization of GaN devices Further InformationType of employment : Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.) Duration : min. 6 months Your Profile You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Electrical engineering, Computer engineering or similar and have completed your 2nd semester. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer :
• Experience in software development, Python is a plus
• Ideally, first experience in using standard electrical measurement equipment (SMU, oscilloscope, multimeter) to measure electrical circuits or semiconductors
• Ideally, first hands-on-experience on hardware development using layout tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle) and corresponding skills in assembly and test of new hardware
• Possibility of being present in the company for at least 2 days per week (blocking possible)
• Optionally, HTL for electrical engineering degree or similar
• Fluency in English, German skills or the willingness to learn are a plus This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students Website.
