About the Role :
Our client, a leading player in the telecommunications sector, is driving a large-scale digital transformation and cloud modernization program. They are migrating critical enterprise applications to AWS and OpenShift and need experienced Cloud Solution Architects / Senior Solution Designers to join their team.
This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in cloud architecture, enterprise solution design, and telecom IT systems who can bridge business requirements and technical implementation.

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will :
- Design scalable, cloud-native enterprise solutions using
 
AWS and OpenShift / Kubernetes
Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture and translate functional and non-functional requirements.Create conceptual and logical solution designs, including system interfaces, data flows, and dependencies.Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data governance, and integration standards.Provide guidance on API integrations, data migration, and interoperability.Modernize legacy systems, refactor largeJava-based codebases
, and optimize application performance.
Prepare process models, user stories, system context diagrams, and data models.Lead workshops and stakeholder sessions to validate solutions and drive consensus.Support agile delivery by participating in refinements, sprint planning, and reviews.Perform impact assessments for change requests and contribute to estimations.Mentor development teams and enforce best practices for cloud-native design and deployment.Skills & Qualifications
Several years of experience as a Solution Architect / Solution Designer / Business Analyst in enterprise IT environments.Strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture and containerized solutions(OpenShift / Kubernetes).
Hands-on background inJava backend development, system integration, and API management.
Solid experience in modernizing legacy applications and large-scale code refactoring.Familiarity with microservices architecture, event-driven systems(Kafka), CI / CD pipelines.
Knowledge of integration principles(SOAP / REST APIs).
Experience in telecommunications IT systems(pricing engines, product catalogs, quoting systems)
highly desirable.
Strong skills in requirements engineering, process modeling (BPMN), and solution documentation.Excellent communication skills – fluent in English, German is a plus.Why Apply?
