Job Description
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in the transformation process of our procurement function. With your knowledge and passion for procurement, you will work with a dedicated team to further develop the area.
Identifying and analyzing project requirements and advising our internal R&D teamsPreparation of inquiry and tender documents based on the project scope and material strategyCommunicate clearly with procurement colleagues to ensure timely responsesEnsure all requirements and specifications are defined when moving items from 'sample' to 'production ready'Meeting supply requirements during project executionMonitor change activities to protect the company from potential supplier claimsIdentifying issues quickly and accurately and reporting on status and actions requiredManage all Project Procurement functions including purchasing, contracting, supplier document control and material management for assigned projectsQualifications
University degree in a technical or commercial field (Bachelor or Master)At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a high-tech-environmentAbility to set up and effectively manage projects across departmental boundariesExperience with the use of Project Management methods and toolsExperience with Rist Assessment and Management methods and toolsAbility to analyze bills of material and drawingsStrong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to build relationships with external and internal stakeholdersProactive approach towards problem solvingExcellent command of written and spoken English and GermanAdditional Information
