• Owner for the complete suite of accounting and compliance topics for the German and Austrian entities including :
• Leading critical accounting processes such as month end and year end close together with the local controlling team
• Supporting, auditing and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Leading cross-departmental projects to automate and create efficient controlling and accounting mechanisms
• Preparing advance tax returns and tax declarations together with external tax consultants
• Leading local annual audits together with external auditors and supporting group audit process
• Main point of contact external partners such as tax consultants, auditors and banks and the internal accounting shared service center
• It is required to travel to Munich, Germany, for a few days each month to fulfill job responsibilities
• Completed studies in the field of economics or as a Senior Accountant / Chief Accountant
• At least four years of relevant professional experience in accounting and / or audit
• Experience managing complex projects across multiple departments with tight deadlines
• Great interest in the innovative and fast-paced environment of a digital challenger
• Analytical thinking and structured, independent working style. A focus on prioritization and ability to remain calm in stressful environments.
• Fluency in English and German.
