Wiener Neustadt Approx. €65.000 gross p.a. APPLY Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Corporate Financial Analyst to join a finance team at an international manufacturing company. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis to drive effective decision-making and enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and actual results, to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and models to support senior management in strategic planning and operational reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track financial metrics, and provide actionable insights to optimize costs and revenue streams.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing financial reconciliations and variance analyses.
  • Evaluate investment proposals and capital expenditures to assess financial feasibility and potential impact on business goals.
  • Continuously review and improve financial processes, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in corporate finance to support the company’s growth and competitiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a financial analyst, ideally within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial software systems (ERP experience is preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional international team.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
