Our client in the telecommunications industry is leading a large-scale modernization and cloud transformation program. We are looking for experienced freelance Senior Solution Architects / Designers to design scalable, cloud-native enterprise solutions and bridge business needs with technical delivery.

Role Overview

As a Senior Solution Architect / Designer, you will work with business stakeholders and development teams to design, optimize, and modernize enterprise applications. This includes translating requirements into cloud architectures, supporting migration to containerized environments, and ensuring alignment with enterprise IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand product lifecycles and related business processes
• Architect scalable, cloud-based enterprise solutions with long-term maintainability
• Gather and document functional & non-functional requirements
• Translate business needs into conceptual and logical designs
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and integration standards
• Guide teams on APIs, data migration, and interoperability
• Modernize legacy systems and refactor existing codebases
• Prepare documentation (models, diagrams, user stories)
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and validate proposed solutions
• Conduct impact assessments and estimations
• Actively contribute to Agile team ceremonies (refinements, planning, reviews)
• Mentor teams and promote best practices in architecture, design, and deployment
