For our client, an international company based

in  Untersiggenthal, we are looking for a R&D

Senior Engineer (m / f / d).

We are seeking, on behalf of our client, a Senior

Certification Engineer to support their Product Engineering team.

Our client is a global technology leader, and this role is part of

a business unit that specializes in the design and production of

medium-voltage power and frequency converters. These products are

used in demanding applications such as rail, marine, and other

industrial sectors, with a power range from 0.18 kW to 100

MW.

This is a senior-level position for a

self-driven and highly committed individual with a strong

background in compliance engineering. Your primary focus will be on

leading and coordinating the certification projects for

medium-voltage (MV) frequency converters.

contract of 6 months with the option to extend

Workplace :  Untersiggenthal

Workload :  80–100%

Remote / Home

Office :  1–2 times per week (after probational

period)

Tasks &

Responsibilities : Lead and manage

certification projects from start to

finish

Work with external notified bodies

(e.g., TÜV SÜD, UL, CSA) to obtain and validate product

documentation

Clarify and manage product

requirements based on customer needs and industry standards (e.g.,

IEC, UL, CSA)

Coordinate internal and external

activities, including preparing documentation, witnessing tests,

and approving test reports

Collect critical

component data for electrical safety and manage product changes in

collaboration with various teams (e.g., Release Management,

R&D, Sourcing, Manufacturing)

Ensure

compliance with key industry standards and directives, including

ISO 13849, IEC 61800-5-1, LVD, MD, and EMC

Directives

Support and coordinate activities

across different tools within the organization to enhance product

automation

Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in

Electrical Engineering or a related field

5+

years of experience in compliance or certification

engineering

Strong sense of responsibility,

commitment, and a self-motivated attitude

Solid

project management skills

Proficiency with

Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

In-depth

knowledge of relevant standards such as IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 61508,

LVD (2014 / 35 / EU), EMC (2014 / 30 / EU), and

RoHS

Experience with products in the power and

automation or a similar industrial sector is highly

desirable

• Fluency in English is required;

fluency in German is highly recommended but not

mandatory
