Our team of industry experts is approaching 100 members with office locations in Vienna, Eisenstadt, Klagenfurt, Warsaw and remote teams across Europe.

This is your challenge : As a provider of carrier-grade software for telecom operators, our solutions are designed to meet the highest standards of accuracy, scalability, and performance. Delivering a robust system which enables our customers to manage millions of subscribers and process billions of transactions each month is critical to building and maintaining the trust of our customers.

As a Product Owner you are a crucial part in delivering customer projects and releasing new features of our core product. Your role extends beyond the creation of stories and coordinate our developers - it also involves supporting connecting with Stakeholders in our Company and Business Analysts in order to understand the big picture requirements and deliver comprehensive implementation of our requirements.

This is waiting for you : As a Product Owner you will be responsible for our backlog, refining the stories from various projects and coordinate them into a structured backlog which then is the basis for our development team. You will collaborate closely with different teammates including Developers, Product Management, Quality Assurance and our Project Managers, to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Aufgaben

  • Understand our product and customer needs in detail
  • Gather input of stakeholders (i.e. our Business Analysts) to refine work-items (i.e. stories) in accordance with our customer projects and overall product roadmap
  • Work with Business Analysts and Solution Designer to create a coherent solution from requirement to story
  • Create and manage the backlog for our developers
  • Manage project constraints and priorities of deliverables together with stakeholders
  • Optimize development process and reduce constraints
  • Communicate & visualize goals and update to stakeholders and development team
  • Report KPI on project and roadmap progress

Profil

  • Proficiency in Agile Tools : Extensive experience using Jira and other Atlassian tools to manage product backlogs, track progress, and facilitate collaboration.
  • Strong Communication and Stakeholder Management : Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on requirements and solutions.
  • Technical Acumen : Solid understanding (without hands-on development experience) of key technologies to engage in meaningful discussions with engineers :

    • Kafka : Understanding of event-driven architecture and message streaming concepts.

  • Databases : Familiarity with database technologies such as Redis and Postgres, including their general use cases and strengths.
  • APIs : Knowledge of API interactions, including RESTful and other integration patterns.
  • Frontend Technologies : Basic understanding of JavaScript and its role in modern web applications.
  • Solution Visualization : Ability to create clear and structured diagrams to illustrate system architecture, workflows, and solutions.
  • Database Design Awareness : Foundational knowledge of database design principles to conceptualize data flow and system interactions effectively.
  • Good knowledge of German and English

  • Experience in the telecom and connectivity industry is an advantage
  • Experience with IoT and Connectivity platforms is a big advantage
  • Knowledge of modern software development practices and tools
  • Experience in complex project settings with coordinating requirements of various projects and roadmaps

    • Salary : Your salary for this position will be between 55.000 EUR and 70.000 EUR per Year (fulltime) - depending on your qualification. Performance-based bonuses are part of our incentive model.
