We are a specialty vaccine company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases addressing unmet medical needs.

We have leveraged our expertise and capabilities both to commercialize three vaccines, including the world’s first and only chikungunya vaccine, and to rapidly advance a broad range of vaccine candidates into and through the clinic, including candidates against Lyme disease, Shigella and Zika.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a motivated Sample Management Expert (m / f / d) to join our team in Vienna . In detail you will be working closely with our teams in Quality Control and CTMA on tasks such as :

  • Sample Administration : Manage incoming samples from clients, including coordinating testing schedules, maintaining documentation, and facilitating communication with clients and internal departments
  • Handle in-house stability samples by maintaining an overview, coordinating internal and external testing schedules, and ensuring proper documentation
  • Coordinate activities with external testing sites, such as scheduling, preparing shipments, setting up agreements and documenting processes
  • Write, review, and maintain GxP-relevant documentation , including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with GMP guidelines
  • Coordinate and document the archiving of binders and manage the filing, organization, and archiving of all relevant documents
  • Support the Lab Support team with administrative tasks and daily operational needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific field (, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry)
  • Basic knowledge of quality systems, such as GMP and GCLP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite , including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional organizational skills with expertise in documentation management
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and dependable in approach to tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Fluent in English - German as a plus

    Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 44,000,- gross per year based on full-time employment. However our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
