We are currently looking for a motivated Manager to lead a team of site security personnel at at least 3 datacenters for a well‑known global client in Vienna & Schwechat. The Area Security Manager (ASM) is accountable for delivery of physical security related services at one or more assigned datacenters in a geographic area and is responsible for the leadership development of the people that report to them while ensuring effective security operations.

Responsibilities

• Active management of physical security operations and on‑site security personnel at a minimum of 3 facilities, supervising recruitment, onboarding, training and development.
• Ensure that all policies and standard procedures are followed, enabling successful audits.
• Plan, assign and manage security projects and ensure timely completion.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of site security operations and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Utilize excellent customer service and communication skills to set an example for on‑site security staff.
• Conduct regular meetings with the client and Securitas corporate management for account reviews, issue resolution and support security planning, assessments and surveys.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Ensure that site health and key performance indicator goals are met or exceeded;

collaborate with the regional security manager to enhance team effectiveness and performance, while ensuring a zero‑injury workplace.

Qualifications

at least 4 years of experience in the security industry and management. Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Management or related fields preferred.

For this position, we offer a minimum salary of €4,600 gross per month (based on full‑time employment, including a 20‑hour overtime rate). Depending on qualifications and experience, there is a willingness to overpay.
