Who you are :
You'll join our team as a
Senior DevOps Engineer
and play a pivotal role in
owning
and
improving
our infrastructure
DevOps team
alongside our experienced
DevOps engineer
and
two backend engineers
, who share DevOps responsibilities part-time.
With deep experience in
AWS, Kubernetes, and SRE
, you'll lead initiatives end-to-end, optimizing cloud architecture, pipelines, and monitoring. You bring some coding experience and have a maker mindset that builds systems to last.

Who you are not :
This role is not for someone early in their DevOps career, looking to move into leadership soon, or aiming for a simple "keep-it-running" job. If you prefer strict hand-holding or shy away from independent responsibility and project leadership, this won't be the right fit.
Purpose of the role :
We open this role to strengthen our DevOps capabilities, reduce single points of failure, and enable the team to focus on impactful initiatives. You'll own critical infrastructure, ensure stability, and scale systems efficiently, while exploring improvements and new technologies. Your work directly impacts our modern stack and the performance of our product, which handles millions of social media requests daily.
You'll be trusted to take full ownership of :
Setting up, securing, and optimizing costs, while keeping the system monitored and running smoothly.
Leading improvements, optimizing our setup, and ensuring smooth operations
Ensuring uptime, performance, and resilience with robust monitoring and debugging
Maintaining configuration and improving workflows for developer efficiency.
Driving infrastructure changes that boost performance and productivity
Working closely with senior engineers, contributing to decisions, and raising the bar across the stack
