Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Independent research activity in the field of personality research, preferably at the intersection of personality and close relationships and in the field of psychological assessment
- Engagement in the field of musical talent and/or creativity research is desirable
- Research-led teaching in the fields of personality psychology and psychological assessment
- Exams and supervision of bachelor and master theses
- Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures
- Continuing education
- Supervision of the test archive
Your profile
- Completed relevant degree with a doctorate (in psychology) specialising in personality psychology and/or psychological assessment
- Sound knowledge in the use and development of psychological testing procedures in the field of research activities to be carried out
- Relevant scientific achievements beyond the dissertation
- Publications in first-rate international journals
- Sound knowledge of complex statistical procedures (e.g. structural equation modelling; latent profile analysis; multilevel models)
- Basic programming skills
- Teaching experience in the field of personality psychology and psychological assessment
- Excellent German language skills and very good written and spoken English skills
- Post-doctoral experience, mobility experience or equivalent professional experience (e.g. research stays abroad)
- Proof of successfully acquired third-party funding
- The application must include a description of a research agenda to be pursed towards the Habilitation (max. 5 pages)
- High level of motivation and commitment
- Organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team
