Your contribution
In this versatile role, you will work in designing, implementing, and testing of AI / ML based algorithms for imaging and data science in the field of life sciences
- Programming of defined functionality according to the SW and MLOps development process
- Support projects from initial feasibility to successful integration into Tecan products.
- Working with the Python development toolset
- Using appropriate tools to prepare and organize Data Sets
- Creation and analysis of Neural Networks and other AI / ML algorithms
- Develop and propose design concepts and create technical specifications and documentations
- Contribute to Standards and Guidelines
- Analyze, Design and Implement code
- Keep up to date with State of the Art AI / ML Techniques

Bachelor's / Master's or PhD degree preferably in computer science, data science or software engineeringIdeally several years of experience in the development of commercial AI research projects in a teamGood Knowledge of Python incl. common Python Libraries (such as OpenCV, scikit-learn and NumPy)Working Knowledge of Linux, C# or some other OO programming languageKnowledge of Common AI Frameworks (such as Keras, TensorFlow or PyTorch)Understand and apply Software Engineering & Machine Learning Best PracticesGood Knowledge of Data and Image ProcessingWork well independently and with interdisciplinary teamsGood presentation and communication skillsWhat makes working at Tecan unique?
