Erste Asset Managements Data Management is a key function within our Operations Division, serving as the vital link between Erste Asset Management business units and IT. Our mission is to continuously enhance data-related processes, enabling faster and more efficient delivery of data to our business, clients, and regulators.
Your tasks
- primary advisor and methodological guide for all data management topics, ensuring quality assurance and acting as the single point of contact
- analyze existing data structures, manage the development and maintenance of data models, and drive ongoing improvements in methodologies, principles, and processes
- initiate and oversee changes to the Data Model (DM), participating in end-to-end process management
- support data management related projects with a strong focus on adherence to schedules, project scope, and business requirements
- act as a communication hub for all data model changes related to projects and initiatives
- ensure end-to-end delivery of requirements, including golden source investigation, further development, data lineage, user acceptance testing (UAT) support and other data-related topics
- leads data quality initiatives, including data cleansing and overall data quality improvement
Your background
Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, banking / finance, IT)at least 5 years of experience in data management, reporting, or business analysis / IT, ideally within the financial services sectorexcellent SQL skills, also familiarity with other data management tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantagesolid understanding of asset management business is preferredsolution-focused and results-oriented mindset, with efficient working practicesstrong team player with a reliable, structured approach and excellent communication skillsfluency in English; proficiency in German is an advantageOur offer
