About us

We are a biotechnology start-up currently focused on food safety. With our disruptive platform technology, we can detect bacteria faster than is currently possible with commercial methods. Over the next 12 months, our first product will be certified and launched on the market. To strengthen our team in the 19th district of Vienna, we are looking for a Head of R&D (f / m / d) on a full-time basis.

Your future role

• Scientific and strategic responsibility for the research and development team
• Responsibility for product validation, verification, and scientific roadmap planning
• Design, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes
• Maintenance and further development of the quality management system
• Ensuring adherence to established processes and promoting a consistent, quality-oriented approach across all teams
• Planning, steering, and monitoring of allocated budgets and resources
• Close collaboration with national and international project partners and funding agencies to ensure efficient development
• Technology monitoring and active contribution to our product strategy
• Ensuring project reporting (internal & external)
• Participation in funding applications and patent submissions

Become part of our motivated, interdisciplinary team :

Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer a gross annual salary starting from EUR 70,000. Overpayment is possible according to your actual profile and experience.

Werde Teil unseres motivierten, interdisziplinären Teams :

Je nach konkreter Qualifikation und Berufserfahrung bieten wir ein Bruttojahresgehalt ab EUR 70.000 pro Jahr. Eine Überzahlung entsprechend der tatsächlichen Qualifikation und Erfahrung ist vorgesehen.
