Pro²Future – Cognitive and Sustainable Products and Production Systems of the Future - is an industry-related COMET K1 Research Centre in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and cognitive / industrial ICT, human-machine-interaction (HMI), and data-driven process optimization with a focus on cognitive and sustainable products and production systems. These are supported by the areas of Perception, Orchestratio,n and Analytics. Further fields of activity of the Center cover mechatronic systems, embedded systems, pervasive computing systems and big data analytics.

Role Description

Under the guidance of the Area Management, the candidate will be involved in the full portfolio of application-oriented research projects in the research area. Based on his or her in-depth knowledge and expertise in visual data analysis, visualizations, front-end development and programming languages, he or she will successfully support the researchers to realize the objectives of the projects. Previous experience in industry or in industry-related projects enables the candidate to fully understand, communicate and manage the requirements set by industry in the research projects.

Qualifications

• Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design skills
• Experience in Software Development and Web Development
• Knowledge of Back-End Web Development
• Proficiency in relevant front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like React or Angular
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Fluent in German and English
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
• Experience in industrial ICT or cognitive systems is a plus
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
